Job Purpose:

One of BRANTU’s main business pillars is our technological capabilities which are driven by exceptional tech talents. Your role as People Executive (focused on technical recruiting) is to ensure a top-talent pipeline is active and available that translates technological objectives and challenges into a manpower plan that is ready to activate as per the business requirements.


  • Responsible for managing the full Technical Recruitment cycle; from the early stages of JD creation all the way through employee onboarding
  • Coordinate, align and revise the Tech Manpower Plan with the management team and provide best practice business partnering expertise in creation and update of Job Descriptions
  • Propose and develop efficient partnerships with relevant hiring platforms, academic institutes, etc.. that best serves technical recruitment
  • Source and reach out to potential (passive) candidates on niche platforms such as Stack Overflow, GitHub, LinkedIn in addition to BRANTU’s existing general sourcing channels
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop recruitment strategies and develop methods that attract top talent
  • Track recruitment spend and make recommendations to the team when needed
  • As part of the People Department, partner with the team and Director of People to improve overall efficiency of BRANTU’s recruitment process, candidate experience and Employer Branding
  • Support in BRANTU’s other recruiting activities as per the business requirements and priorities
  • Actively participate in BRANTU's Employer Branding Initiatives and lead by example when it comes to engagement that aims at delivering how BRANTU is a welcoming place to work!


To be successful in this role, you need to hold:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a relevant field; we would also welcome engineers who shifted their career to Human Resources and have the passion for it!
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience dedicated to technical recruitment in e-commerce startups, software houses and/or technical recruitment agencies
  • Demonstrated understanding of the various stack languages and technologies that helped you fill these roles in your previous position(s). You are a recruiter; but being knowledgeable of the industry you hire for is key!
  • Working knowledge of one or more HRIS and ATS
  • Able to prioritise tasks and adjust to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
