People and Culture Associate
Job Purpose:
Brantu is looking for a people orientated person, a connector and clear communicator, someone who ensures effective coordination and communication among the various individuals and teams affected by the hiring process, as well as the organization as a whole. This position is a piece of the puzzle in creating efficient and equitable internal processes and systems for our employees. You will also be playing a big part in strengthening employer-branding initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Build a solid understanding of business objectives and priorities by partnering with the leadership team. This will in turn help you understand the talent needs and recruitment strategy. Wear your business partner hat!
- Ownership of end-to-end recruitment cycle; sourcing up to onboarding:
- Create, develop and update Job Descriptions for the departments in scope
- Source, identify and screen prospect applicants through BRANTU’s recruitment channels, with an eye on building a talent pipeline for the future requirements
- Ownership and follow up on applicant interviews, assessments and feedback in lights of BRANTU’s recruiting and assessment process; ensuring a delightful candidate experience is provided in addition to recruitment efficiency metrics achievement
- Coordinate onboarding and document handling with People Operations for candidates and departments in scope
- Foster the culture of cooperation within the company by enhancing employee experience, understanding policies and frameworks and ensuring fair and equal application
- Promote BRANTU’s work and collaboration culture externally; support in employer branding initiatives; propose the company event calendar and plan, work closely with Marketing and Creative for content development and work.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Major/minor on Human Resources Management is a great plus.
- 1-3 years of Talent Acquisition and Management experience that qualifies you to achieve your objectives above, ideally within startups, tech and/or creative companies and agencies.
- Well versed with interview techniques, CBI and candidate evaluation.
- Proficiency with recruitment and job boards; such as LinkedIn/Wuzzuf/Bayt and applicant tracking systems.
- Analytical mindset, metric-driven and a go-getter attitude is a must!
