Job Purpose:

Reporting to your Category Lead and working closely with Business Development and Order Management teams, your key role is to efficiently onboard and manage marketplace sellers onto BRANTU’s platforms and ensuring day-to-day operations are running seamlessly enough to meet our customer promises, company metrics, contractual agreements and maintain churn rates.


  • Onboard and manage marketplace accounts
  • Train sellers on how to use BRANTU systems and provide all communication needed from the product team
  • Manage and report seller KPIs creating performance improvement programmes for lagging sellers
  • Support in communicating recommended promotions/assortment development or improvement and price points
  • Conduct periodical visits to sellers ensuring their coherence with BRANTU’s marketplace operations manual and proactively identify potential downfalls
  • Resolve arising issues with sellers in scope
  • Follow up on sellers and ensure their conformance to stock update SLAs
  • Working with Category Management, establish seller retention strategies to ensure sellers stay active and mutual growth plans are always in place 
  • Daily monitor and analysis of individual marketplace seller KPIs (Cancellation rates/Confirmation Speed/Delivery frames/etc..), leading to Net Merchandise Volume improvement
  • Perform periodical audits on seller operations and review customer experience findings to ensure deviations from contractual agreements are promptly tackled
  • Liaise with Supply Chain as required to resolve seller issues and queries while validating outcomes and ROIs with Customer Experience team findings
  • Working with Business Development, develop marketplace onboarding funnel ensuring new sellers going onto the marketplace are promptly trained and live with their launch

About you: To be successful in this role, you need to be an excellent 'account manager' with advanced communication skills and high level of business understanding

  • Bachelors Degree in a Business/Finance Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role; handling marketplace operations within an e-commerce platform, seller account handling and analysis on sales operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge on interpreting numbers, analysing data and the ability to provide actionable recommendations and results
